A little about me...well, simply put, I LOVE taking pictures. I'm the one in my family and among my friends who always has their camera with them capturing events, holidays, scenic places and simple moments in the day. I love photos on everything - frames, canvas, calendars, mugs, albums, cards. Pictures capture memories that you will always cherish and be passed down through generations of your family.
Before turning my passion for photography into my own business, I worked for advertising agencies and provided marketing consulting. I have always had an eye for graphic design and enjoyed working in the ad industry. Now I have a 10 year old daughter who loves being photographed and who I'm now training to be my "assistant.” I have a 6 year old son who is starting to realize that his mother will NOT stop taking photos of him regardless of how fast he moves. And I have a loving and supportive husband who helped me take my hobby of photography to the next level by giving me a photography workshop with John Fielder in Colorado for Christmas years ago. And finally, I have a silly, energetic yellow lab who also patiently lets me photograph her (sometimes).
My specialty is casual, lifestyle photographs using natural light and backgrounds (and maybe a few fun props if you wish!). I love taking advantage beautiful outdoor backdrops and making photo sessions fun and easy for the whole family! We play games, be silly, have some treats along the way and lastly kids get to pick out a prize from my treasure box (yep, it works at the dentist so why not at a photo session?).
